BUG# 9800 (4.2) SYMPTOMSThe DB-Library (DB-Lib) function dbcursoropen() does not invoke error and/or message handlers, when the SQL statement passed to it contains an invalid table name. STATUSMicrosoft has confirmed this to be a problem in DB-Library version 4.20.00. We are researching this problem and will post new information here in the Microsoft Knowledge Base as it becomes available. MORE INFORMATIONThe function returns fail, but there is no handler to check to determine the failure is due to an invalid table name. Additional query words: dblib cursor cursors
