BUG# 10135 (4.2) SYMPTOMS
Object Manager's data transfer function will generate an error if the user
specifies a to (or upper) range limit that is larger than the number of
rows in the table. Once this error is encountered, the data transfer
function will not work until Object Manager is stopped and restarted.
For example, if an attempt is made to transfer out the authors table in the pubs DB with a range specified of 1 to 500, the following error is reported:

All subsequent attempts to use the data transfer function fail as noted above until Object Manager is stopped and restarted. WORKAROUNDDo not specify a to limit in the range option that is larger than the number of rows in the table. If the above error is encountered, stop and restart the Object Manager session. STATUSMicrosoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Microsoft SQL Server version 4.2 and SQL Server version 4.2b for OS/2.
