BUG# 10190 (4.2) SYMPTOMS
Attempting to convert a character string other than "0" or "1" to type
SQLBIT using the dbconvert() function will fail with the error:
WORKAROUNDTest the contents of the character string before calling dbconvert() to convert the string to type SQLBIT. If the string does not compare equally to "0" or "1", substitute the appropriate string in the call to dbconvert(). STATUSMicrosoft has confirmed this to be a problem in DB-Library version 4.2.
