SYMPTOMS
SQL Enterprise Manager returns the following error message when you try to
register a SQL Server:
If the server is registered anyway, any attempt to connect to the server from within SQL Enterprise Manager will result in the following error:
CAUSE
SQL Server has not been allocated enough memory. In order to use SQL
Enterprise Manager to administer SQL Server, the server must have at
least 4.5 megabytes of RAM allocated to SQL Server.
WORKAROUNDUse the sp_configure stored procedure to allocate at least 2304 2K pages to SQL Server. MORE INFORMATION
