BUG# NT: 12091 (6.00) SYMPTOMS
If a stored procedure that has an integer parameter and is a member of a
stored procedure group attempts to execute the procedure that provides a
negative value for the parameter:
execute test_proc;2 -1234 then an invalid syntax error occurs:
WORKAROUND
DB-library applications will not receive the error if they execute the
procedure as an RPC using dbrpcsend().
STATUSMicrosoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Microsoft SQL Server version 6.0. This problem has been corrected in U.S. Service Pack 3 for Microsoft SQL Server version 6.0. For more information, contact your primary support provider. Additional query words: select convert
