BUG#: 14664 (6.00) SYMPTOMSIn SQL Enterprise Manager, if you choose "Generate SQL Scripts" option, it scripts the user "repl_subscriber" in the database being scripted. The Enterprise Manager Help on this section says that repl_subscriber will not be scripted. WORKAROUNDIf the script for the repl_subscriber login is not desired, manually edit the script to remove the entries for creating the login and for adding the user in the database. STATUS
Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Enterprise Manager for
Microsoft SQL Server version 6.0. We are researching this problem and will
post new information here in the Microsoft Knowledge Base as it becomes
available.
MORE INFORMATION
Enterprise Manager scripts all the users in the database and all the logins
for the users in the database. This should not be a problem normally
because the script checks the existence of the login/user before the
entries for creating the login/adding the user.
