BUG# NT: 15428 (6.5) (sqlserver) SYMPTOMSUsers are not able to connect to SQL Server using the IPX/SPX net library because the Novell Bindery service name of the SQL Server is wrong. CAUSEWhen SQL Server is upgraded to version 6.50 the Novell Bindery service name becomes the name of the server running the setup program and not the name of the server being upgraded. WORKAROUNDRun the setup program and select 'Change Network Support.' Type the appropriate service name and choose Continue to exit the setup program. The change will take effect the next time the server is started. STATUSMicrosoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Microsoft SQL Server 6.50.
