SYMPTOMSSelecting from a view that contains a correlated subquery and a distinct clause can cause a thread level access violation (AV) in SQL Server. WORKAROUNDRecode the query so that a distinct clause and a correlated subquery are not combined. STATUSMicrosoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Microsoft SQL Server versions 6.0 and 6.5.
