SYMPTOMSWhen views and tables are created by a user of a database who is not the database owner (DBO), column constraints that are defined as 'not null' on the table are ignored when another user inserts data through the view. WORKAROUNDTo work around this problem, ensure that the DBO is the owner of the tables and views. STATUSMicrosoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Microsoft SQL Server versions 6.0 and 6.5.
