A SELECT statement that contains too many columns can cause a handled
access violation error in the optimizer which returns
and EXCEPTION_INT_DIVIDE_BY_ZERO is recorded in the SQL Server error log. WORKAROUNDRemove enough columns from the SELECT to allow the query to run. STATUS
Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Microsoft SQL Server
version 6.5. We are researching this problem and will post new information
here in the Microsoft Knowledge Base as it becomes available.
