INF: Server Configurations Transferred During 7.0 Upgrade

SUMMARY

When upgrading SQL Server to version 7.0, if the System Configuration box is selected under System Objects to Transfer on the System Configuration screen of the upgrade wizard, the following server configuration values will be transferred from SQL Server 6.x:

  • Affinity mask


  • Allow updates


  • Cursor threshold


  • Language in cache


  • Max text repl. size


  • Max worker threads


  • Media retention


  • Nested triggers


  • Priority boost


  • Remote access


  • Remote login timeout


  • Remote query timeout


  • Resource timeout


  • Set working set size


  • Show advanced options


  • Spin counter


  • Time slice
