BUG: SQL Cluster Setup Fails When TEMPDB in RAM

SYMPTOMS

When TEMPDB is in RAM, SQL Cluster Setup fails with the following message:

Configuration Check Failure
Cluster resource group information could not be read, SQL Cluster Setup failed.

Take TEMPDB out of RAM before running SQL 6.5 Cluster Setup. After setup is complete, put TEMPDB back into RAM.

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in SQL Server version 6.5.
