SYMPTOMSWhen browsing cube data on an OLAP server from the OLAP Manager on a remote client computer, the user gets the following message:
CAUSEThis message can appear if the ODBC data source name (DSN) for the OLAP database is not defined on the remote client computer. WORKAROUNDDefine a DSN on the client computer with the same name as the one which has been defined for the cube that you want to browse in your OLAP server. For example, if you are accessing the sample FoodMart database on a remote OLAP server (the DSN is FoodMart) then an ODBC DSN name FoodMart should be defined on the client computer also. The DSN on the client computer should point to the same data source as the DSN defined on the server. Additional query words:
