Using xp_sendmail to send e-mail messages that have more than one file attachment, results in the first file being attached N number of times (where N is the number of file attachments in the xp_sendmail statement). xp_sendmail @recipients = "User1", @subject = "Attachment Test", @attachments = 'c:\test1.txt;c:\test2.txt'results in recipient User1 receiving a message with file attachment test1.txt attached twice (and attachment test2.txt is not attached at all. CAUSEA pointer to the attachment structures was not being incremented properly if the attachment count was greater than 1. Therefore, an attachment count greater that 1 references the content in the first attachment structure repeatedly. RESOLUTIONA supported fix that corrects this problem is now available from Microsoft, but
it has not been fully regression tested and should be applied only to systems
experiencing this specific problem. If you are not severely affected by this
specific problem, Microsoft recommends that you wait for the next SQL Server service pack
