PRB: Pressing ESC When Modifying SP in SEM Erases Changes Without Prompting

Microsoft SQL Server version 7.0

SYMPTOMS

When you are editing a stored procedure (SP) in SQL Enterprise Manager (SEM) and you press the ESC key, the dialog box closes without prompting you if you want to save your changes.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in SQL Server version 7.0.

WORKAROUND

After making your changes, click either Apply or OK.
