Proceeding Without START-UPStep 3 directs you to insert the START-UP disk, which contains CHKDSK.COM. This disk was created when you installed OS/2. If you can't find it, there are two ways to get around the problem:
- or - Errors Caused by Absence of UHPFS.DLLIf the disk used in Step 3 does not contain CHKDSK.COM and UHPFS.DLL, you can receive numerous errors. If it has only CHKDSK.COM, you receive:Error 1This error occurs when you type from the [A:\] prompt: CHKDSK C: /F Error 2This error occurs when you type from the [A:\] prompt: CHKDSK /F Error 3This error occurs when you type from the [C:\] prompt: A:\CHKDSK /F Additional query words: 2.20 2.2
