SYMPTOMSWhen you install NetBIOS 3.0 support with the LAN Manager 2.2b client software on an OS/2 2.x machine, the machine hangs hard when the system tries to load the drivers in the CONFIG.SYS file. CAUSEThere is a resource problem with NETWKSTA and a problem loading NetBIOS support on cards that don't directly support it. NETWKSTA attempts to allocate resources to a certain level. When it cannot, it hangs the machine. WORKAROUND
