Miscellaneous Anomalies and/or Workarounds

When some network cards were installed, the .ADF files for the cards had to be edited. The .ADF file is a plain text file that can be edited with any ASCII editor. Find the first NamedItem and insert the following lines before it:

   NamedItem

   Prompt "Enable/Disable Adapter"

   choice "Adapter Enabled"  pos[0]=XXXXXXX1b
   choice "Adapter Disabled" pos[0]=XXXXXXX0b

   Help

   "The normal setting is Adapter Enabled. Use the disabled
   setting if you are not using the adapter in your system."
