SYMPTOMSOn a Windows for Workgroups (WFWG) workstation, if you access a FoxPro database that is larger than 2000 bytes, located on the FAT formatted boot partition of a LAN Manager server, the error message: appears if: A LAN Manager workstation has accessed the database first and then you attempt to access the same database CAUSEThe LAN Manager server incorrectly responds to the WFWG request to access the database file with a message that is too long, resulting in a NetBIOS error. RESOLUTIONThe LAN Manager file, NETSERVR.EXE, has been updated to correct this problem. STATUSMicrosoft has confirmed this to be a problem in LAN Manager version 2.2. This problem was corrected in the LAN Manager 2.2b Patch.
