SUMMARYThe LAN Manager Net Admin utility View Permissions option has a viewing limit of 1500 files per directory. This is a practical limit; the actual limit may be closer to 1600 files. SYMPTOMSThe Error ConditionIf you use the Net Admin utility to view a directory with more than 1500 files, the error occurs when you make the following Net Admin selections:View->Shared Resources->View Permissions-> Zoom the specific directory or Accounts->File Permissions -> Zoom on a specific directory The Error Messages and SymptomsThis may be followed by a Trap 000D (CSLIM=32A2 in LM 2.1) NOTE: the Trap CSLIM values may vary in later product releases. WORKAROUNDUse command line options to file permissions (net access) and/or share directories (net share for directories exceeding 1500 files.
