SYMPTOMSThis problem occurs when you are using Microsoft Windows 95 and Microsoft Internet Explorer. When you start the Internet Explorer Internet Mail client, the Internet Mail inbox appears. When you click the Send and Receive icon, the authentication dialog box appears and requests your logon information. When you type the requested information, you are not logged on to Microsoft Exchange Server. However, you can telnet into port 110 of the Exchange Server and the following message appears: +OK Welcome to NT Example POP3 server. RESOLUTION
