SUMMARY
When a Microsoft Mail user sends mail through the Microsoft Mail Connector
and then out to the Internet using the Internet Mail Service, the Reply
address may have the following format:

This is known as an encapsulated address. This only occurs when the
Microsoft Mail user does not have a Custom Recipient defined on the
Exchange Server computer. The Internet Mail Service "encapsulates" the
address to give the recipient of the message a route back to the sender.
