SYMPTOMSWhen you attempt to send or receive a Simple Mail Transfer Protocol (SMTP) message through the Internet Mail Service, a general protection (GP) fault may occur, or you may experience other system instabilities. This problem occurs with messages that contain Hypertext Markup Language (HTML) content. CAUSE
This behavior is the result of a problem in the component of the conversion
engine that is responsible for converting HTML to Rich Text Format (RTF)
and vice versa.
STATUS
Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Microsoft Exchange Server
version 5.0.
