Different NDRs Generated by CCMC, Exchange Server

SYMPTOMS

The non-delivery report (NDR) sent by Exchange Server and the NDR sent by the Exchange Connector for Lotus cc:Mail (CCMC) postoffice (PO) are different. The NDR to the connector for cc:Mail has a report explaining the NDR and the original text body of the message. The NDR to Exchange Server has only the report explaining the NDR.

CAUSE

This is behavior is by design.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Microsoft Exchange Server version 5.0.
