XADM: How to Save Organizational Forms to a PST File

SUMMARY

It may be necessary to save the Organizational forms to a mailbox folder or a personal folder (PST), particularly if GUIDGEN is being used to rebuild the System folders per Knowledge Base article Q152960 or Q177763.

You must have "Owner" permissions on the Organizational Forms Folder before you are allowed to copy the data to a .Pst.

To save the forms to a PST, perform the following steps:

  1. Log in to Exchange Server using an Outlook client.


  2. From the Tools menu, select Options.


  3. Select the Manage Forms tab.


  4. Click the Manage Forms button.


  5. In the left column, click the Set button and select Organization Forms.


  6. In the right column, click the Set button and select a folder in the mailbox or PST.


  7. Select all of the forms in the left column and click Copy.


The forms are now in the folder selected in Step 6. To restore the forms to the Organizational Forms library when the GUIDGEN process has been completed, repeat the steps above, but in Step 7, select the forms on the right and click Copy.
