When a user does one of the following:
If the user name contains an extended character (ASCII over 127), such as the character ñ (Alt 0241), the user cannot log on. The correct credentials are rejected with the following error message:
WORKAROUNDTo work around this problem, do not use the "Use Network Security during Logon" option, and have the users and the Exchange Server computer in the same Windows NT domain. RESOLUTIONTo resolve this problem, obtain the latest service pack for Exchange Server version 5.5.
