SUMMARYIn Outlook 98, the signing and encryption certificates are written in the registry and are profile-specific. If you need to re-create your profile for any reason (you deleted it by mistake, it got corrupted, and so on), you need to add your security information to this new profile before you can use advanced security. MORE INFORMATIONPerform the following steps to add your signing and encryption certificates to a new profile on the same computer:
NOTE: In steps 7 and 9 above, you must select your own certificates. When you attempt to send secured mail, the client checks the e-mail address on the certificates and compares it to the e-mail address of your mailbox, and if they do not match, you will get an error. Additional query words:
