SYMPTOMS
When you attempt to install Outlook 98, the Setup may fail, and you receive the following error message:
The producer entry point 0cbytestream@@qae@xz could not be located in the dynamic link library Msoert.dll
The Active Setup.log may show the following entry:

CAUSE
Internet Explorer or Outlook Express files are missing or corrupted.
WORKAROUND
- Remove Outlook 98.
- Reinstall Internet Explorer 3.02 or later to replace any missing or damaged files.
- Reinstall Outlook 98.
