SYMPTOMSIf you configure an X.400 Connector to use a Cirel Winsock X.25 card installed in an Exchange Server computer, the Message Transfer Agent (MTA) may stop unexpectedly. This problem is most likely to occur during heavy message traffic. CAUSEThis problem occurs when the Cirel Winsock transport sends a malformed buffer into the stack. If the data is invalid, it should not be passed up the stack to the MTA, but it is. RESOLUTIONTo resolve this problem, obtain the latest service pack for Exchange Server version 5.5.
