  • Microsoft Exchange Server, version 5.5

SYMPTOMS

The custom recipient's display name might be corrupted during a directory synchronization (dirsync) between Lotus Notes server and Exchange Server over a WAN connection.

CAUSE

When Lsdxa is handling buffers transferring from a writer to a reader (two sides of the Directory Exchange Agent [DXA]), the source pointer is miscalculated to a position that is one character off when handling escape characters. The fix re-adjusts it back to the right position.
