SYMPTOMSWhen you receive a message from a Microsoft Exchange Server computer using the IMAP4 Internet Protocol, the message text may be wrapped after 72 characters. This behavior can be observed when Message Encoding is set to MIME and the Provide Message Body as Plain Text option is enabled. RESOLUTIONA supported fix that corrects this problem is now available from Microsoft, but
it has not been fully regression tested and should be applied only to systems
experiencing this specific problem. If you are not severely affected by this
specific problem, Microsoft recommends that you wait for the next Microsoft Exchange Server version 5.5 service pack

To change the message text word-wrap, a new registry key has been
created.
