XFOR: Lotus Notes Configuration Utility Does Not Finish and Save

ID: Q240277

The information in this article applies to:
  • Microsoft Exchange Server, versions 5.0, 5.5

SYMPTOMS

You can make configuration changes to the Exchange Notes Connector in the Lotus Notes Configuration utility, but when you reopen the utility, your changes have not been saved. You may also get a message when you change the source or target Address Book that says "Database Object is invalid" if the Exchange Server service account is not a member of the Local Administrators group.

RESOLUTION

Add the Exchange Server service account to the Local Administrators group; this allows the Lotus Notes Connector Configuration to finish and save any changes.
