SUMMARYThe Microsoft Exchange Server Mailbox Manager allows you to select mailboxes that you want to exclude from automated message deletion. With MBClean, there was a limit to the number of mailboxes that could be excluded. To overcome this limitation, the exclusion information is stored on the mailbox itself. This is accomplished by adding a custom proxy address (MBX) to each mailbox that is excluded. Mailboxes that do not have this address are considered for cleanup. No mailboxes are excluded by default.
