XCLN: IMO with Symantec Fax Starter Edition Outlook Ignores Some Telephony Settings

SYMPTOMS

When you use Outlook 2000 Internet Mail Only (IMO) and Symantec Fax Starter Edition, Outlook ignores the following settings in the Telelphony tool in Control Panel:

To disable call waiting, dial

For long distance calls, use this calling card

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Microsoft Outlook 2000.

MORE INFORMATION

This problem does not occur when you use Outlook 2000 in Corporate Workgroup mode with MSFax.
