XGEN: Rules May No Longer Work After MIMEsweeper for Exchange Server Is Installed

SYMPTOMS

If you use the MIMEsweeper for Exchange Server, the Inbox Assistant and Out of Office Assistant rules may no longer work. The New Mail Notification dialog box may also stop responding.


CAUSE

MIMEsweeper intercepts incoming mail before it reaches your Inbox. A side effect of this is that any rules defined for new mail in the Inbox Assistant or Out of Office Assistant are not executed.

Please contact MIMEsweeper for procedures to address this issue.
