SYMPTOMSAn access violation may occur if the Exchange Server information store service processes incoming Simple Mail Transfer Protocol (SMTP) messages that contain a transport-neutral encapsulation format (TNEF) body part. CAUSEWhen the information store processes an incoming message that contains a TNEF body part and converts the message, the TNEF body part properties may contain binary data rather than Unicode.
