SYMPTOMSIn the Microsoft Exchange Server Administrator program, you can set message size limits for mail processed by the Internet Mail Service. After you apply Exchange Server Service Pack 3, the Administrator program may display an incorrect message size. This is only a problem with displaying the correct size; the correct size is actually used by the Internet Mail Service for message size restrictions. CAUSEThe Administrator program is incorrectly multiplying the message size limit value by 102.4. This issue only affects the value reflected in the Administrator program. RESOLUTIONA supported fix that corrects this problem is now available from Microsoft, but
it has not been fully regression tested and should be applied only to systems
experiencing this specific problem. If you are not severely affected by this
specific problem, Microsoft recommends that you wait for the next Microsoft Exchange Server version 5.5 service pack
that contains this fix. http://www.microsoft.com/support/supportnet/overview/overview.aspThe English version of this fix should have the following file attributes or later: Component: Internet Mail Service
STATUSMicrosoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Microsoft Exchange Server version 5.5. MORE INFORMATIONTo reproduce this behavior in the Administrator program:
