SYMPTOMSWhen a Lotus Notes user either sends mail that contains an SMTP address with an apostrophe (') in the user name or replies to mail that contains an SMTP address with an apostrophe in the user name, the mail is not delivered by the Microsoft Exchange Notes Connector. For example, the user name, user.o'hara, contains an apostrophe. The following events are logged in the application event log: 31500 : MSExchangeNotes : Information : notes to exchange CAUSEThe apostrophe character (') is not allowed when checking the user name. RESOLUTIONA supported fix that corrects this problem is now available from Microsoft, but
it has not been fully regression tested and should be applied only to systems
experiencing this specific problem. If you are not severely affected by this
specific problem, Microsoft recommends that you wait for the next Microsoft Exchange Server version 5.5 service pack
