XFOR: Event ID 2003 Displays the Wrong Destination Address

SYMPTOMS

If the Microsoft Exchange Server Internet Mail Service is configured so that the SMTP Interface Events setting is Medium on the Diagnostic Logging tab, the Event ID 2003 description contains the wrong destination domain for all messages.

All messages sent out through the Internet Mail Service show the same domain name in the description.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Microsoft Exchange Server 5.5.
