SYMPTOMSAfter you apply Service Pack 3 for Exchange Server version 5.5, the following error message may be logged in the Windows NT Event Viewer application event log: After this error message is logged, the message transfer agent (MTA) may stop processing messages and you may need to restart the service before mail flows again. CAUSEThe MTA leaks control blocks. Under stress or slow connection conditions this problem becomes apparent. RESOLUTIONA supported fix that corrects this problem is now available from Microsoft, but
it has not been fully regression tested and should be applied only to systems
experiencing this specific problem. If you are not severely affected by this
specific problem, Microsoft recommends that you wait for the next Microsoft Exchange Server version 5.5 service pack
