This article describes how to synchronize files between a Handheld PC (H/PC) and a desktop computer that use different default languages.

To synchronize a file between an H/PC and a desktop computer using different default languages, follow these steps:

  1. On the desktop computer, copy the file you want to synchronize. For information about how to copy a file, click Start, click Help, click the Index tab, type "copying files" (without quotation marks), and then click Display.


  2. Click Start, point to Programs, point to Microsoft Windows CE Services, and then click Mobile Devices.


  3. Browse to the Synchronized Files folder. The default location of the Synchronized Files folder is <HandheldPC>\My Documents\Sychronized Files, where <HandheldPC> is the name of the H/PC.


  4. On the Edit menu, click Paste. If the Synchronize File dialog box appears, click No Just Copy These Files, and then click OK.
