SYMPTOMSOn a desktop computer, when you click the Channel Items check box in the ActiveSync Options dialog box to select it, you may receive the following error message: After you synchronize the Palm-size PC (P/PC), you may also see the following message in the Connection Status dialog box where <n> is the number of files that did not synchronize. CAUSEThis behavior can occur if Microsoft Internet Explorer version 4.0 or later is not installed on the desktop computer. RESOLUTION
To resolve this problem, install Internet Explorer version 4.01 from the
Microsoft Windows CE CD-ROM. To do so, follow these steps:
