Cannot Create Ink Notes in Pocket Outlook

SYMPTOMS

When you attempt to create a drawing using the Ink Notes feature in any Pocket Outlook program, the program may unexpectedly switch from the Ink tool to the Select tool.

CAUSE

This behavior can occur if a third-party handwriting recognition program is running.

RESOLUTION

To resolve this issue, quit the third-party handwriting recognition program. To do so, consult the program's manual or manufacturer.
