This article describes how to connect more than one Handheld PC (H/PC) or
Palm-size PC (P/PC) to the same desktop computer.

To connect two H/PC's or P/PC's to the same desktop computer, follow these
steps:
- Connect a serial cable between a communications (COM) port on the
desktop computer and each H/PC or P/PC.
- On the desktop computer, right-click the Windows CE Services icon on
the taskbar, and then click Communications.
- In the Port box, note which COM port Windows CE Services is using,
and then click OK.
- Right-click the Windows CE Services icon on the taskbar, and then click
Open Mobile Devices.
- On the Tools menu, click Synchronize Now.
- On the H/PC or P/PC that you synchronized, double-tap the Windows CE
Services icon on the taskbar, and then tap Disconnect.
- On the desktop computer, right-click the Windows CE Services icon on the
taskbar, and then click Communications.
- In the Port box, click to change the COM port Windows CE Services is
using, and then click OK.
- Right-click the Windows CE Services icon on the taskbar, and then click
Open Mobile Devices.
- On the Tools menu, click Synchronize Now.
