Windows CE Services Setup Enables All COM Ports for RAS

SYMPTOMS

After you upgrade Windows CE Services for Windows NT, all communications (COM) ports may be enabled for Remote Access Services (RAS), including COM ports that were not configured for RAS before the Windows CE Services upgrade.

CAUSE

Windows CE Services Setup is designed to configure all COM ports for RAS.

STATUS

This behavior is by design.
