Convertible File Types Are Not Listed Alphabetically

SYMPTOMS

When you view the list of convertible file types in the Mobile Devices folder on your desktop computer, the entries are not sorted alphabetically by file type.

CAUSE

This behavior occurs because the entries are sorted alphabetically by file extension. This is unlike Windows Explorer, which sorts entries alphabetically by file type.

To view the lists of convertible file types, follow these steps on your desktop computer:

1. Click Start, point to Programs, point to Microsoft Windows CE Services, and then click Mobile Devices.



2. On the Tools menu, click File Conversion.



3. Click the Device To Desktop tab or Desktop To Device tab.
