SYMPTOMSWhen you use Microsoft Word 97 to save a document with an embedded image as a Microsoft Pocket Word (.pwd) document, the image may be missing when you reopen the document in Word 97 or Pocket Word. Document text remains intact. CAUSEWhen you save the document in Pocket Word format, the image is defined as a Drawing Object image. This type of image is not supported by the RichEdit control included with Windows CE Services. STATUSMicrosoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Microsoft Windows CE Services version 2.2.
