Multiple Files Are Not Copied from Mobile Device to Desktop PC

• Microsoft Windows CE versions 2.0, 2.1, 2.11, 2.12, 3.0 Professional Edition for the Handheld PC
• Microsoft Windows CE versions 2.0, 2.1, 2.11, 2.12 for the Palm-size PC

SYMPTOMS

When you drag a group of files from your Windows CE-based device to your desktop computer (by dragging the files from the Mobile Device window), not all of the files may be transferred to the desktop computer.

CAUSE

This problem occurs only if you are using Microsoft Windows NT 4.0 or Microsoft Windows 95. This problem does not occur in Microsoft Windows 98 or Microsoft Windows 2000 Beta 3.

RESOLUTION

To work around this issue, use any of the following methods:

• Copy a single file at a time, instead of copying multiple files at once.



• Use Windows 98 instead of Windows 95 or Windows NT 4.0.
