Error Message: Mobile Channel Error

• Microsoft Windows CE versions 2.0, 2.1, 2.11, 2.12 for the Palm-size PC

SYMPTOMS

You may receive the following error message on the Active Desktop of your Palm-size PC (P/PC):

Mobile Channel Error
An error occurred while processing a Mobile Channel. Possible causes include:

• Channel information is out of date: synchronize Channels on your device.



• Channels storage memory setting too low: increase the maximum storage memory for Channels.



• Low storage memory condition: allocate more space for storage.



• Low program memory condition: allocate more space for programs.

RESOLUTION

To prevent this error message, you need to perform a "hard" or "cold" reset on your P/PC to return it to its original state.

WARNING: Performing a "hard" or "cold" reset causes all your data to be lost. Make sure to back up your P/PC before performing the reset.
