SUMMARY
Microsoft Windows 95 and Microsoft Windows 98 support joysticks in
the following hardware configurations:
- Joysticks connected directly to a MIDI or Game port on a supported
sound card.
- Joysticks connected directly to a joystick port on a supported game
card.
The following hardware configurations have not been tested and are not
supported by Microsoft:
- Joysticks connected through a "Y" connector or switch box.
- Joysticks connected to a Universal Serial Bus (USB) port that has
been converted to a joystick port by the use of an adapter.
MORE INFORMATION
The SideWinder 3D Pro and SideWinder game pad require direct connections
to all pins and must be plugged into a 15-pin joystick or MIDI port.
